Bellavista Terrace Viewpoint

An incredible panoramic view from the summit of Cerro San Cristóbal

This viewpoint is one of the most iconic spots in Parquemet and can be accessed via the Funicular or Santiago Cable Car by getting off at Cumbre Station. It’s located at the highest point of Cerro San Cristóbal, at the foot of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, and is known for its stunning panoramic view of the central, southern, and western areas of Santiago.

What to See at Bellavista Terrace Viewpoint?

At the summit of Cerro San Cristóbal, there are many attractions to visit, in addition to enjoying the beautiful view of Santiago and trying the classic mote con huesillo sold at the local stands.

In the surrounding area, you’ll find Café Tudor, Plaza México, and the Manuel Foster Observatory.

How to Get to Bellavista Terrace Viewpoint?

Without a doubt, taking the Cable Car or the Funicular is the fastest, most enjoyable, and easiest way to reach this viewpoint.

If you enter Parquemet through Pedro de Valdivia, you can take the Cable Car from Oasis Station and get off at Cumbre Station. On the other hand, if you enter through Pío Nono, you can ride the Funicular, which takes you to Cumbre Station in approximately 5 minutes.

Both rides are must-do experiences at Cerro San Cristóbal and offer an incredible 360º view of the city.
