Santiago Cable Car

Cumbre Station – Summit

Cumbre Station is the final stop on the Santiago Cable Car route, located at the top of Cerro San Cristóbal in Parquemet, at an elevation of 880 meters above sea level.

Around the Cumbre Station of the Cable Car, there are plenty of attractions and places to explore. One of the most well-known is the Sanctuary of the Immaculate Conception, located about 250 meters west of the station exit. It is one of the main places of Catholic worship in Chile, especially significant as a city icon and famous for the statue of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, which can be seen from various points across Santiago.

Near this station, you’ll find one of the best viewpoints in the park to admire the city: the Terraza Bellavista Viewpoint. This terrace offers stunning panoramic views, several small shops selling souvenirs from Santiago and Chile, and vendors offering the iconic mote con huesillo—a traditional Chilean refreshment made with caramelized peach juice, husked wheat, and dried peaches.

Right outside Cumbre Station of the Cable Car, you’ll find one of the best artisan ice creams in Chile at Delicatto Café, offering homemade ice cream and a wide variety of flavors.

Cumbre Station on the Cable Car route is a key connection point with the Panoramic Buses, which stop at Plaza México and take you on a scenic ride through the park all the way to Tupahue Station.
